Hello!

We're Sharon and Andy Howard and together we are Shandy's.

We live mostly off the land and we are self-sufficient, residing on our family farm here in Sheffield, in the Selwyn District, Canterbury.

Some years ago, we decided that we'd like to share with others some of our favourite recipes and products that we have made at home and enjoyed for years, and they are just too good not to share.

Each of our products is made with ingredients we grow ourselves or procure locally.

We have four delicious sauces in our range - Nan’s Tomato Sauce, Plum Sauce & Worcestershire Sauce in two size variants and our NEW Cheeky BBQ Sauce in a 250ml bottle. We also make a divine seasonal Elderflower Cordial and our NEW Elderflower Fizz, a delicious and non-alcoholic drink, and our yummy dehydrated Native Oyster Mushrooms.

Each product is handcrafted to traditional recipes and our tomato sauce is Andy's Nan's special family recipe!

Our products are vegan-friendly and contain no additives or preservatives.

We sell our products at markets, fetes and food shows and to selected specialty stores, grocers and butcheries in and around Canterbury and the South Island.

 

Our homemade sauces are also available at selected speciality stores across the South Island.

During the season, we make Elderflower cordial, a delicious alternative for a chilled summer drink.

We grow and dehydrate our own Oyster Mushrooms. We sell these in a handy 25gm pack and in a powder form.
