We’ve been pretty busy this last week..
On Wednesday we attended the Selwyn Let's Collaborate evening, an awesome evening with other small artisan business owners in the Selwyn district, all looking how to market all the special businesses within our very unique district. Working with all these talented minds in the future is a very exciting prospect.
Andy is still busy in the kitchen preparing for The Southern Crafters Market, which is not far away now, but he isn't exactly helping himself after labeling a whole batch of worcestershire sauce as Nan's tomato. That will cut into his firewood splitting time!!
The frosts are back after quite a bit of rain, not great news for the slugs - been seeing a few deceased ones around so that will help the seedlings in the spring, always something positive in everything! The garlic is looking good and the onions have just been planted out so, we are on bird watch duties now, nothing worse than planting out little onion seedlings and next minute the birds have flicked them everywhere. Aren't veges expensive, having to up our vege growing game.
